The dynamic disc is placed upstream of the valve to limit the pressure and the flow so that the more flow you want to circulate through the pipe, the narrower the orifice; thereby reducing pressure and flow.
Flow limiting disk. When the flow rate that circulates through the disk increases excessively, the membrane seals due to the action of dynamic pressure and reduces the passage section, limiting the flow rate.
