STAINLESS STEEL 2-WAY REDUCER PILOT (EN)

This pilot is perfect for drinking water as it is made of stainless steel. It allows to regulate both static and dynamic pressure. It has a large passage and is therefore able to reduce pressure very quickly. The 2-way stainless steel reducing pilot has a diaphragm-actuated pressure reducing function, which is in the open position due to the spring pressure acting on the diaphragm. When the pressure downstream of the valve exceeds the set point, the water flow is closed, thus achieving pressure regulation.

This metallic pilot has been designed so that, assembled with a hydraulic valve, it automatically reduces from a higher and fluctuating pressure upstream to a lower and constant pressure downstream, regardless of the variation in flow.

Instalation and maintenance

For a correct operation of the pilot, it is recommended to respect the assembly diagrams, using the appropriate fittings for the type of thread.

Seal the connectors with liquid Teflon or tape. Both the installation and the manipulation of the pilot will be carried out with adequate tools and by qualified personnel.
